A central entrance lead to a hub and spoke designed floor plan, which, resulted in strong visual sight lines and ease of guest movement. This was no ordinary trade show floor! In the center of the hub was a 360º screen showcasing the industry thought leaders and craftsman that where conducting seminars throughout the 3-day event. 12 uniquely themed areas offered the attendee hands on experience with Canon’s highlighted advanced technology.
Show highlights include:
The New York Experience;
We created an ice skating rink with a Teflon floor that mimicked the world famous Rockefeller Center. Ice skaters populate the rink posing for attendees as they shot photos from the numerous tethered cameras placed around the rink. A hydraulic controlled platform strategically placed in the room helped create the Staten Island Ferry experience. An additional photo opportunity for the attendee to experience Canon’s technology by photographing oversized models of the Statue of Liberty and the New York skyline.On Location-Moving images for business;
In this area there was an 180º canopy screen that was pixel mapped to encompass the audience in a virtual experience of flying and walking around NYC. There also was a 2 50 seat 3D theatres showcasing the high definition canon projectors
Journey Of the Image;
This area focused on professional fashion photographers giving demos and hands on experience for the attendees, shooting models in front of a green screen and a staged fashion show that happened every 30 minutes
Around the trade floor we built 4 theatres for presentations and demonstrations. Also surrounding the floor was a number of sound proofed offices for the Canon executive team to conduct business.
At the end of the 3-day event ten thousand visitors experienced Canon’s products and technologies with hands-on activities in real-life scenarios.
